Fentanyl & Xylazine Test Strips

Fentanyl and Xylazine are often used as inexpensive but dangerous 'fillers' that are being found in street drugs and imitation pills. Test strips to detect drugs containing these potentially lethal ingredients are available as a method of harm reduction.

Test strips are being provided by a grant along with community Naloxone kits by the NY Matters Network in conjunction with the NYS Dept of Health. We have included test strips with our community narcan kits and these strips can also be picked up at the front desk of our Public Safety Building at 312 Wolf Rd, Latham NY 12110.
